Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuntsholing
• Travel Time: Approximately 4 hours
• Meet and greet at IXB Airport
• Transfer to Phuntsholing, a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains.
• Evening exploration of Phuntsholing town.
• Overnight stay at Phuntsholing.
Day 2: Phuntsholing to Thimphu
• Travel Time: Approximately 5 hours
• After breakfast, drive to Thimphu
• Visit Nine-storey Sangye Migyur Ling Monastery.
• Explore Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Bazaar
• Visit National Library
• Evening stroll around Thimphu town
• Overnight stay at Thimphu
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing and Transfer to Punakha
• Travel Time: Approximately 2 hours
• After breakfast, visit various attractions in Thimphu
• Visit Kuensel Phodrang and see the newly built Buddha statue (51.5m tall)
• Visit Takin Preserve Centre
• Explore Simply Bhutan, a living museum
• Attend Thimphu Tshechu at Thimphu Dzong
• Drive to Punakha, with a stop at Dochula Pass
• Overnight stay at Punakha
Day 4: Punakha Sightseeing and Transfer to Paro
• Travel Time: Approximately 3 hours
• Morning visit to various attractions in Punakha
• Visit Punakha Dzong
• Walk on Punakha Suspension Bridge (250m long)
• Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility
• Drive to Paro and check in to the hotel
• Evening stroll around old Paro town
• Overnight stay at Paro
Day 5: Paro Sightseeing and Transfer to Phuntsholing
• Travel Time: Approximately 5 hours
• Morning visit to attractions in Paro
• Visit Paro National Museum
• Wear traditional Bhutanese dress (Kira for ladies and Gho for men) and take photos
• Visit Paro Fortress and Ta Dzong
• Drive to Phuntsholing with a stop for lunch
• Overnight stay at Phuntsholing
Day 6: End of Tour - Phuntsholing to Bagdogra

Happy60plus will not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. The additional cost incurred such as cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger. Cancellation Policy All cancellations are to be communicated in writing. During High peak season period, Hotels Specific Cancellation Policies will be applicable in these cases the hotels may not refund any amount if the booking is cancelled after issuance of Hotel Voucher.
